Sago Palm 80 cm

A Sago Palm at 80 cm, with the stiff, glossy, tightly spaced fronds radiating from a squat scaled trunk. Sago is not a true palm; it is a cycad, which is why the leaf looks harder and more prehistoric than any real palm.

That hardness makes it read convincingly in artificial form and suits stone, concrete and dark timber interiors. It works on a low plinth, a terrace step or a pair flanking an entrance. With anti-UV foliage it stands outdoors in full sun.
