Outdoor artificial trees and planters for terraces in Lebanon
These 11 photos come from terraces, rooftops and outdoor entrances in Lebanon: an olive tree on a 38 cm real olive trunk, a red bougainvillea made to the length of a sunny wall, bamboo screens giving privacy to a seating area, and long planters of palms and tropical leaves on a terrace facing the sea. They show what works outside, in sun and wind.
Olive trees are at home on a Lebanese terrace, and three of the pieces here are olives: one in a grey concrete planter on a terrace with a mountain view, one on a thick twisted trunk set into white stones, and one on a massive 38 cm real olive trunk topped with artificial olive stems in a concrete planter. A real trunk gives an outdoor tree the weight and texture it needs to read as real from across a terrace. The artificial olive trees page shows the trunks and sizes we work with.
Long planters do most of the work outside. Artificial bamboo in a long planter under a pergola makes an instant green screen; bamboo and palms in a black planter give shade and privacy to the seating behind; a wood slat wall with built-in planters of trailing greenery dresses a bare terrace wall. On a city rooftop, pots of palms and grasses line a steel frame, and stepped planters of grasses climb beside an orange perforated screen at a rooftop entrance. One tunnel-shaped entrance is lined with planters of tropical leaves, so the welcome starts before the door.
For outdoor artificial trees in Lebanon, sun and wind decide most choices. Ask for anti-UV foliage on any piece that sees direct sun, and a weighted base or a heavy planter on terraces and rooftops open to the wind. Measure the wall or railing a planter will run along, since long planters and a bougainvillea can be made to that length. For walls rather than trees, the green walls and ceilings projects include outdoor anti-UV panels on a facade, beside a plunge pool and on restaurant terraces.

To plan a terrace like these, send a photo of it on WhatsApp with the length of the wall or railing, the direction it faces and whether it gets full sun. We propose trees, planters and foliage, build them in our Jdeideh workshop, then deliver and install them across Lebanon with our own team. Stock pieces leave within 3 business days; custom pieces take 15–25 working days after the drawing is approved. You can also book a showroom visit first.

Questions about these projects
Can artificial trees stay outside in the sun in Lebanon?
Yes, when they are made with anti-UV foliage, which we use for outdoor pieces so the leaves keep their colour in the sun. Every tree and planter on this page stands on an open terrace, a rooftop or an outdoor entrance.
Will an artificial tree blow over on a windy terrace or rooftop?
Our trees come with weighted bases, and large pieces sit in heavy planters such as the concrete ones in these photos. Tell us how exposed the terrace is and we size the base and the planter for it.
Can artificial bamboo be used as a privacy screen on a terrace?
Yes. Two of the terraces here use long planters of artificial bamboo, one under a pergola and one mixed with palms, to give the seating behind them privacy and shade. The planter is made to the length you need.
Do you install outdoor trees and planters outside Beirut?
Yes. Our own team delivers and installs across Lebanon, in about 4 days for stock pieces. To plan a terrace, send photos on WhatsApp at +961 81 064 568 or book a showroom visit in Jdeideh.
