A Japanese Maple at 150 cm, with the fine, deeply cut leaves and delicate branch structure that make the species one of the most admired small trees in the world. In its red form the colour is the point.
A live Japanese maple is a difficult plant in the Lebanese climate and impossible indoors. This one holds its leaf and colour permanently, indoors or, with anti-UV foliage specified, on a shaded terrace. The fine canopy reads best against a plain pale wall or a window.
