Alocasia Plant 160 cm

An Alocasia at 160 cm, with the large arrow-shaped leaves and pronounced pale veining that give the species its graphic, almost drawn quality. It is a plant people notice, because the leaf shape is unlike anything else in a typical interior.

Live alocasias are demanding about humidity and go dormant without warning. Here the leaves stay open and upright permanently. Set it against a plain dark or pale wall so the vein pattern reads. Dust the broad surfaces with a soft cloth every few weeks.
