A Phoenix Palm at 115 cm on two trunks, the date palm, with stiff arching fronds of narrow leaflets. The leaf is harder and more structured than an areca, which gives the plant a stronger, more Mediterranean character.
Two trunks at different heights give it a natural clumped base. At 115 cm it fits beside a chair, in a low planter or at the foot of a stair. The phoenix is the palm most associated with the Lebanese coast, and with anti-UV foliage specified it can stand outdoors in full sun.
