A Schefflera tree at 170 cm, the umbrella tree, with leaflets radiating in circles from each stem tip on a clear trunk. At this height the pattern repeats up the whole plant and reads clearly across a room.
It works as a corner tree in a living room, an office or a waiting area. The live species drops its lower leaves at the first cold draught, leaving bare stems below a thin crown. This one keeps its full canopy permanently. Wipe the leaflets when they dull.
