An Areca Palm at 170 cm on three trunks, with the fine arching fronds that soften a room without blocking it. Areca is the palm most often used indoors because the leaf is light and open; a piece this size fills a corner while still letting the wall behind it show through.

Three trunks are what make the canopy look grown rather than assembled. Real arecas brown at the frond tips within weeks in a dry, air-conditioned room. This one does not. Dust the fronds occasionally with a blower rather than a cloth, which is faster on fine foliage.
