Birds of Paradise 170 cm

A Bird of Paradise at 170 cm, the mid-height strelitzia. Broad paddle leaves and orange and blue flower heads on a frame that fits a standard ceiling.

It works beside a seating area, in a hotel room, or in a restaurant where a two-metre plant would be too much. The flower colour is unusual in interior planting, most of which is entirely green, which makes it useful where a space needs lifting without adding an object.
