Zanzibar Gem Plant large leaves

A Zanzibar Gem with large leaves, the ZZ plant, built with the thick glossy leaflets arranged along upright stems. It is the plant that survives more neglect than any other, which is why it fills so many offices; the artificial version simply removes the last bit of effort.

The deep glossy green reads well against pale walls and light wood. Stems stay upright instead of splaying outward as they do on an overgrown live plant. Wipe the leaves occasionally and the shine comes straight back.
