A Sansevieria at 65 cm with nine green stems, the snake plant, in the upright sword-leaved form. Nine stems is what makes it read as a full established clump rather than a young plant in a pot.
Sansevieria is all vertical line and no fuss, which is why it appears in so many minimal interiors and hotel corridors. The artificial version holds every leaf upright permanently, with no soft rotting bases and no watering. It suits narrow ledges, reception counters and tight floor spots.
