A Monstera Deliciosa at 120 cm, the compact size for smaller rooms, offices and apartment corners. The characteristic split leaves are all there, just on a shorter and more contained frame.

This is a good first piece for a space that has never held a plant, because there is no learning curve. Put it where it looks right rather than where the light is, and dust the leaves every few weeks. If the room later asks for something bigger, the same species is available at 140 cm and 160 cm.
