A Dracaena Fragrans at 160 cm, the corn plant, built on woody stems with striped foliage crowns. The bare trunk below and the leaf rosette above give it a tree-like proportion on a small footprint.
That shape makes it one of the most useful plants for tight spots: the space between two doors, a narrow return of wall, or the gap beside a filing cabinet. There is no watering, no light requirement, and none of the brown leaf tips the live species develops in dry air.
