Custom Olive Bonsai 170×170 cm

A custom olive bonsai measuring 170 × 170 cm for the tree alone, on a trunk of natural preserved wood. Standing in its pot the whole piece reaches around 220 cm.

Olive bonsai is the shape that reads as age. The trunk is real preserved wood, so the bark and the twist belong to the tree rather than a mould, and the silvery-green foliage is applied leaf by leaf. Low and spreading rather than tall, it works where the ceiling will not take a full tree — over a reception desk, in a bay window, at the turn of a stair.

No watering, no sunlight, no pruning and no feeding. An occasional dusting is the whole maintenance routine.
