A boxwood ball at 35 cm with yellow flowers, clipped into a tight sphere. The ball is the most formal shape in planting and also the hardest to maintain, since one uneven growth spurt ruins the outline.
The yellow flowering finish softens the geometry and adds warmth without needing a separate flowering plant. It suits an entrance, a pair of planters flanking a door, or a row along a terrace. Anti-UV foliage keeps the colour outdoors in direct sun.
