A Juniper Bonsai at 60 cm, with a gnarled, twisted trunk and tight clipped foliage pads. Bonsai is the most demanding plant form there is: years of training, and one missed fortnight can undo it.
In artificial form the shape holds exactly as styled. At this size it belongs on a desk, a shelf, a reception counter or a low table where it will be seen close up, which is how bonsai is meant to be viewed. Dust the pads gently with a soft brush.
