Banana Palm thick trunks

A Banana Palm on thick trunks, with heavy fibrous stems carrying wide paddle leaves. The trunk is what makes this piece: thin-stemmed banana plants read as houseplants, while thick trunks read as a tree and change the scale of the whole installation.

It belongs in resort and restaurant interiors, pool surrounds, and lobbies that want a tropical rather than a Mediterranean character. The large leaves are quick to dust with a soft cloth. Heights and trunk thickness can be specified when we build it for you.
