Areca 140 cm

An Areca at 140 cm, the size for a spot beside a sofa, a desk or the end of a counter. The fronds arch outward and downward, which gives the plant a relaxed shape that suits a domestic room better than anything upright and formal.

Fine-leaved palms are demanding as live plants in air-conditioned interiors, where the frond tips brown and never recover. This version keeps its colour indefinitely. Blow the dust off the fronds from time to time and leave it alone otherwise.
