An Aloe Vera at 50 cm, with thick fleshy leaves curving upward from a tight rosette. At this size it belongs on a counter, a shelf, a windowsill or a restaurant table.
The succulent leaf is naturally matte and rigid, which is why aloe holds up so well under close inspection in artificial form. It suits Mediterranean and desert-themed interiors and pale stone surfaces. Nothing to water, and no shrivelled lower leaves to pull away.
